Smt. Mithibai Motiram Kundnani College of Commerce and Economics, a Sindhi linguistic minority institution, was established in 1961 by the Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board to cater to the educational needs of students.
Located in the queen of the suburbs Bandra area, the college is named after the revered mother of Late Vidyasagar Principal K.M.Kundnani.

Smt. MMK College of Commerce and Economics offers B. Com program in six disciplines and B.M.M course in two disciplines at the UG level. The minimum eligibility criteria for B. Com is, the candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. For B.M.M course, candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent. Admission to UG programs will be offered based on marks obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the affiliating university.

Smt. MMK College of Commerce and Economics offers M. Com. and Ph.D. program. Candidates seeking admission to M. Com program must hold a Bachelor’s degree in commerce with 50 % marks. Minimum Eligibility criteria for Ph.D. is M.Com. Admission to M. Com program will be granted based on Marks scored in the entrance examination conducted by the affiliating university. Selection of a candidate in Ph.D. will depend on the marks scored in the Entrance Test followed by the interview conducted by the affiliated university.
