Navodaya Medical College offers a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree program at the undergraduate level. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to this course is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology and English as a language subject. Selection of candidates is done through counselling conducted by KEA, Karnataka on the basis of their NEET (UG) score.
Candidates applying for the MBBS program must register through KEA website after qualifying NEET (UG). Only those candidates who have qualified NEET are eligible to apply for KEA counselling for UG medical. The application fee & counselling fee for NEET & KEA counselling can be paid via online modes such as credit/ debit card and net-banking.

Navodaya Medical College offers three-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) degree programs at the post-graduate level. The specializations offered under the MD program include Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Preventive & Social Medicine, Dermatology, Anesthesiology, Pediatrics, General Medicine, TB & Respiratory Diseases and Radio Diagnosis. The MS program is offered in 6 different specializations, viz. Ophthalmology, Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Anatomy.
The basic eligibility criteria for admission to these courses is a MBBS degree from a recognized institute or university. Selection of candidates is done on the basis of their NEET (PG) score through KEA, Karnataka counselling.
Aspiring candidates may apply and appear for PGET conducted by KEA and attend its respective counselling. The application process as well as fee payment is through online mode. Candidates who have been selected for admission must submit an affidavit/ bond consenting to serve two-year post-graduation as a medical officer/ physician in medically underserved areas.
Key Points:
- MD/ MS candidates should have satisfactorily completed the Rotating Compulsory Internship of one year before the starting of the courses, and registered with the Indian Medical Council.
- The candidates should have registered his/ her M.B.B.S degree with the respective State Medical Council prior to applying for KEA counselling.
- Selection in NRI category and Management Quota is done on the basis of NEET PG ranking followed by counselling conducted by KEA.
Navodaya Medical College Application Process 2021
Navodaya Medical College accepts applications from eligible candidates for admission to MBBS and MD/MS programs as per norms set by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Accordingly, candidates are required to register and appear for the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET-UG) for MBBS admission, and NEET (PG) for admission to MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses. Candidates who qualify the written entrance exam must then register with KEA for the purpose of counselling.
The process of registration for centralized KEA counselling is as follows:
- Candidates may visit the KEA official website and register online by filling the online application form.
- It is advised that the applicant feeds all relevant information carefully and with accurate details. Discrepancies in the information provided, if found later, could lead to disqualification for counselling.
- PG candidates must submit a hard copy of the complete application form along with an affidavit undertaking executing a bond to serve for two-year after graduation in a designated hospital or healthcare centre in a medically underserved area of the country.
- At the time of documents verification, all original documents have to be produced. Candidates are also required to submit self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents to KEA.
- The applicant must also submit the additional documents prescribed by the institute in support of caste/ religion for reservation of seats.
