Navodaya Medical College accepts applications from eligible candidates for admission to MBBS and MD/MS programs as per norms set by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Accordingly, candidates are required to register and appear for the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET-UG) for MBBS admission, and NEET (PG) for admission to MD/ MS and PG Diploma courses. Candidates who qualify the written entrance exam must then register with KEA for the purpose of counselling.

The process of registration for centralized KEA counselling is as follows:

  • Candidates may visit the KEA official website and register online by filling the online application form.
  • It is advised that the applicant feeds all relevant information carefully and with accurate details. Discrepancies in the information provided, if found later, could lead to disqualification for counselling.
  • PG candidates must submit a hard copy of the complete application form along with an affidavit undertaking executing a bond to serve for two-year after graduation in a designated hospital or healthcare centre in a medically underserved area of the country.
  • At the time of documents verification, all original documents have to be produced. Candidates are also required to submit self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents to KEA.
  • The applicant must also submit the additional documents prescribed by the institute in support of caste/ religion for reservation of seats.
