Manikchand Pahade Law College, Aurangabad was established 1956. the college affiliated by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.

 ManikchandPahade Law College, Aurangabad is the oldest law college in Marathwada region. On the eve of the states re-organization prominent Advocates and educationist of Aurangabad took the lead to establishing “Marathwada Legal & General Education Society”. Prominent amongst them were Mr. Govindbhai Shroff, Late H.G. Vaishnav, Adv. L. S. Kulkarni. The society was established with the mission to establish the law college in the region, as at that time the facility for higher education in general & legal education in particular was lacking. For taking legal education students had to run to places like Hyderabad, Nagpur, Pune and Mumbai etc.

Admission Procedure:
Rules of Admission :
The Bar Council o India has prescribed minimum qualification for the admission to 3 years as well as 5 years Law Course. According to Circular bearing No. 3/1997 dt. 19th Sept. 1997, students seeking admission must have secured 45% marks at the qualifying examination or if these is there is entrance test the percentage at the qualifying examination should be 40%. The Rule provides as under :-
Rule 1 (1) (a) in a part IV Section-B (3 year Law Course)
a)That, at the time of joining the course he/she possess a graduate degree from any recognized University or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to a graduates degree of a University by the Bar Council of India. "If there is entrance test, the percentage should be 40 but if is no entrance test, the percentage should be 45 for LL.B. Admission." Law, he 
Eligibility Certificate  :
: Eligibility certificate from in the case of students coming from other University Board. The eligibility Certificate shall be obtained from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University only after production of Migration Certificate of previous University before the end of 1st term. As per University ordinance student who has not produced his final eligibility certificate before the end of 1st term, will be granted that term. Student will also not be allowed to appear University Examination without production of eligibility certificate.
Students seeking admission to LL.B. I shall apply in their own handwriting in the prescribed from. Application must be complete in all respect. Incomplete application shall not be accepted. Application must be submitted along with all relevant documents as per detail shown below.
a)Original Transfer Certificate (T.C.)
b)Certified true copy of Mark Memo of last qualified passed.
c)Form of Eligibility Certificate in case these students who are migrating from other University along with Migration Certificate Original Mark Memo.
d)A Letter of authority from those who are in service.
e)An application for free studentship with income certificate in case of economically Backward class students or prescribed form for Scholarship / Free ship (B.C.) Holders
f)Affidavit of U.G.C. regulation for curbing to menace of ragging. Two statements (a) by parent (b) by student.
Admission  :
Student Seeking admission to LL.B. (Old Course) shall apply in their own handwriting in the prescribed form. Applications must be complete in all respect. Incomplete application shall be rejected. Applications must be obtained along with all relevant document as per details shown below.
a)Certified true copies of Marks Memo Originals + Two True Copies
b)College Transfer Certificate in Original (T.C.) + Two certified Xerox copies.
c)Form of Eligibility Certificate to be obtained from the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
d)A letter of authority from those who are in service.
e)An application for free studentship with Income Certificate in the case of Economically Backward class students or prescribed forms for scholarship / free ship holders.
