The Lala Lajpatrai Memorial Trust was formed in 1959 on the eve of the Birth Centenary Celebration of the Late Lala Lajpatrai to work for the objectives which were so dear and near to Lalaji’s heart. Through Lalaji was interested in almost all the fields of activities contributing to the enrichment of national and social life, the cause of education was always uppermost in his mind. It was therefore desired by our late Prime Minister Shri Lal Bahadur shastri that the most fitting way to commemorate the memory of the great patriot was to start an institution of higher education.
The college which is affiliated to the University of Mumbai is situated at Hajiali on the road named after Lala Lajpatrai.
At under graduate level the college offers courses in Bachelor’s of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor’s of Mass Media, B.Sc in Information Technology and B.Com (offered in three specialisations). Admissions to these courses will be done strictly on merit of qualifying examination in class 12th.

The minimum eligible marks are relaxed by 5% for reserved category candidates.
LLRCCE, Mumbai M.Com Admissions 2022
The college is also known to offer two year degree course of M.Com. The selection of candidates to the course will be done through merit of qualifying degree examination.
Key Points:
Any candidate in possession of degree in B.Com (Banking & Insurance, Accounting & Finance and Financial Markets) or BMS of Mumbai University, or an examination of any other recognized is eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in their final year bachelor’s examinations may apply as well.
LLRCCE, Mumbai Application Process 2022
Any candidates seeking admissions into LLRCCE will obtain application form from the office during working hours after official notification. Candidates may also fill-up Mumbai University application form and submit the same by following the given steps:
Log on to the Online Admission Portal of Mumbai University and click on the link for “Pre- Admission Online Registration”.
Proceed to “Apply Online”, enter mandatory details and complete the form to “Register”.
A verification code and a link will be sent on the mobile number provided by the applicant.
Log in with the verification code, fill in given particulars of the online application form and attach a recent passport size coloured photograph as per the requirement.
During the process candidates must pay the registration fee of Rs. 150/- through a DD drawn in favour of “The Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai” payable at Mumbai.
Submit the print of application form along with necessary documents in the college.
Ph.D Application Form
Application form can be obtained from the college office between 10.00 A.M. and 05.00 P.M. on all working days. The application fee of Rs.100/- has to be remitted through cash.
