K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce was founded in 1974 by the visionary industrialist Late Shri Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja. The philanthrophist who believed in the welfare of human kind devoted a portion of the profits from his mercantile activities for charitable work especially in the fields of education and healthcare which he considered as the fundamental right of every human being.K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce is recognised as one of the premier academic institutions in Mumbai and has the ISO 9001 Certification. It received the Best College Award for year 2010-11, from the University of Mumbai. In March 2016, the University Grants Commission UGC) selected the College as a College with Potential for Excellence.
KPB Hinduja College of Commerce offers Bachelor’s degree courses in Commerce, Accounting & Finance, Banking Insurance, Management Studies, Mass Media, Financial Market, Investment Management, Transport Management and Information Technology for the candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examinations with 45% aggregate marks.
Admissions to all these courses will be based on the merit list issued by the college, as per candidate’s score in the qualifying examination.
Key Points for UG Admission:
For the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from other than Maharashtra State Board, transfer certificate is compulsory.
In case of selection, candidates must register under the University of Mumbai.
