Indian School Of Business - [ISB], Hyderabad was established in 2008. 

the Indian Institute of Technology(Kharagpur) Act declaring this Institute as an Institute of national importance. The Institute was also given the status of an autonomous University. From this modest start in 1950, IIT Kharagpur has been engaged in a steady process of development with about 18 academic departments, five centres of excellence. the vast tree-laden campus, spreading over 2100 acres has a self contained township of over 15,000 inhabitants. Currently we have about 550 faculty, 1700 employees and 9000 students on the campus.

Undergraduate Admissions:

Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses in IIT Kharagpur is conducted through written entrance examinations.

Admission to undergraduate programmes in all IITs is tied to the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE). Candidates who qualify for admission through IIT-JEE can apply for admission in afour-year B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) degree, a five-year B.Arch degree, a five-year Dual Degree (Integrated Bachelor & Master of Technology) or a five-year integrated M.Sc (Master of Sciences) at IIT Kharagpur.

15% of the seats are reserved for students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST). In addition 27% separate reservation exists for the Other Backward Classes.

Postgraduate Programmes:

Over the last sixty years, IIT Kharagpur has consistently established new and improving standards in higher engineering education. Postgraduate degree programmes at IIT Kharagpur lead to Joint MTech / MCP-PhD, MBA and MMST degrees. In addition, the Institute also offers Integrated MSc programmes and Joint MSc-PhD programmes.

The curricula and pedagogy in these programmes are periodically updated with focus on quality and excellence to meet the demands of the changing world.
