From a small beginning in 1993, with 6 faculty members, teaching a single class with an intake of 24 students in a rented premise, we have grown to 75+ full-time faculty members, six courses with an intake of over 900 full-time students, and a 50-acre campus with world-class infrastructure. We are fortunate to have had Late Fr. Romuald D'Souza as our founding Director. The institute has grown under his visionary leadership from strength to strength.
Goa Institute of Management offers full-time PGDM, PGDM HCM (Healthcare Management) PGDM BDA (Big Data Analytics), PGDM BIFS (Banking Insurance and Financial Services), as well as part-time PGDM.

Candidates are required to complete a Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks in any relevant discipline.
Goa Institute of Management PGDM Selection Criteria
For all full-time PGDM programs the selection is based on different criteria. They are as follows:
XAT / CAT / GMAT / CMAT scores
Based on these scores students will be shortlisted for an interview.
The final selection will be based on:
Objective Assessment: 40%
Past Academic Performance: 15%
Work Experience (if any): 10%
Interview: 30%
Diversity Index: 5%

GAAT Entrance Exam Pattern
GAAT or GIM Analytics Aptitude Test is conducted exclusively for students willing to opt for PGDM in BDA. This test is conducted online and is MCQ based for 150 minutes consisting of the following areas where 06 questions are tested. There is a negative marking of 25% for each incorrect answer. The areas in which students are tested as follows:

Eligibility
Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks in any relevant discipline.
Minimum 3 years work experience after graduation.

Register by providing the valid email id and phone number.
Login using the registered email and fill the correct credentials.
Provide the required Application fee and ‘submit’ to complete the application

Selection through ELITE
ELITE (Entry for Learned Individuals Topping Elite institutions) is a direct interview for Toppers of selected colleges. Check here
ELITE – For Toppers of selected colleges.
Achiever Round- Non-ELITE applications shortlisted with achievements & Profile.
Regular Round- Everyone else will be shortlisted based on XAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT score. This is called a Regular Round.
Toppers of selected colleges and ELITE applicants will be automatically shortlisted for interviews and will be eligible to apply for ACCESS scholarship.
All four programmes i.e. PGDM, PGDM-HCM, PGDM-BDA, PGDM-BIFS can apply through ELITE.

COLLEGE PLACEMENT:
Goa Institute of Management or shortly known as GIM has an active placement cell that is completely run by the students. Every year, the institute maintains a steady performance during its placement drive. Recently, Goa Institute of Management conducted its placements for the batch 2022 and 247 received more than 200 offers and the Institiute has received the highest ever CTC of INR 30.17 LPA this year.
The final report of the 2021 placement drive is out. According to the report, the highest CTC stood at INR 25.60 LPA to the PGDM students. The average CTC stood at INR 10.71 LPA.
