DMIMS offers various courses at the undergraduate level, namely MBBS (Medicine), BDS (Dental Surgery), B.Sc. Nursing, BAMS (Ayurveda) and BPTh (Physio-Therapy). Admission process consists of admission counseling for those selected on the basis of their performance in the all-India qualifying examination NEET. The All India Rank and percentile obtained in the NEET UG must be submitted to the University, based on which admission will be granted. Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years if age as on the 31st of December of the year of admission, and must have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks.
- The test is scheduled to be three hours duration.
- The test consists of four sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
- Four marks are awarded for every correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The syllabus includes topics covered at the +2 level in the relevant subjects.
Candidates must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria for admission to UG courses:
- Candidates must have a pass at the 10+2 level in the Science stream to apply.
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are required as subjects of study at the +2 level for MBBS, BAMS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing courses.
- Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India, and a 5% relaxation in the minimum required percentage is given to candidates from these categories.
- Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
- Selection is entrance based, done on the basis of performance in the national level entrance examination NEET.

DMIMS offers MD and MS courses at the postgraduate level, with several specialisations being offered. The admission process consists of admission counseling for those selected on the basis of their performance in the all-India qualifying examination NEET. The All India Rank and percentile obtained in the NEET PG must be submitted to the University, based on which admission will be granted. Candidates must be qualified from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The test is scheduled to be three and a half hours long.
- The test consists of 300 questions that cover all relevant areas studied at the undergraduate level.
- There is no negative marking awarded.
Candidates must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria for admission to PG courses:
- Candidates must have full registration recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Candidates must have completed a one year internship from a recognized institution by the 31st of March of the year of application.
- Appearance in NEET is compulsory.
- Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India, and a 5% relaxation in the minimum required percentage is given to candidates from these categories.

Candidates who wish to apply may do so by completing all the steps specified in the following application process.
- Go to the official NEET website and register for the examination by completing all required processes.
- Register with the DMIMS University as well by filling in the application form from the official university website.
- Pay the required fee via DD to successfully submit the form to DMIMS.
- The demand draft must be made in favour of the Competent Authority, DMIMS (DU) payable at Nagpur.
- Alternatively, the form can be bought and submitted at the college office itself.
