Nagar Yuwak Shikshan Sanstha, under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Shri Dattaji Meghe, Former Member of Parliament, established the NYSS Institute of Management & Research in 1994 (which is recognized as "Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies" since 2009). The Autonomous Institute offers full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and permanently affiliated to Nagpur University. It is accredited thrice by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi in 2019, 2014 and 2008.

The Programme is designed to grow as a centre of excellence in management education along with current trend and issues. It strives to provide the best educational aids and maintain a creative atmosphere. Recently, the Institute has ranked among top 100 B-Schools by Dalal Street Investment Journal- 2015. DMIMS has bagged many awards of National and International repute like Asia's Best business school awards by CMO Asia, Outstanding B-School in western region award by B-School Excellence Awards. Dainik Baskar has ranked DMIMS as 38th in its survey of top 50 Private B-Schools in India.

The institute has a flexible and innovative approach towards the teaching-learning process with emphasis on practical aspects and 'beyond-the-syllabus' areas of knowledge. Eligibility Criteria:

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate .

  • The candidate should be an Indian National
  • Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelors Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent ( at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent
  • Obtained score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority

(2) All India Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward
    class categories and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent
  • Obtained score in one of the following examinations
    • MHCET conducted by the Competent Authority
    • Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management (CAT)
    • Common Management Aptitude Test Conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (CMAT)

(3) Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National

  • Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent
  • Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time
