Bharati Vidyapeeth University’s New Law College, established in 1978, is the premier institute of international excellence in the field of legal education. It is one of the constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune, recognized by Bar Council of India & University Grant Commission.The College affiliation is approved by Bar Council of India through Letter No. BCI-D-1029,(2009(1-E.Mtg) Dated 7/7/2009.The college is also recognized under 2f & 12b of UGC Act 1956. The college is Re-Accreditated with “A+” Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (3rd Cycle). .The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice Y.V. Chandrachud the then Chief Justice of India. The foundation stone of the New Law College building was laid down in the year 2004 at the hands of the Chief Justice of India Hon. Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, the then judge Supreme Court of India. The new building of the law college was inaugurated in the year 2005 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice R.C. Lahoti, the then Chief Justice of India. The college has celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 2003 .

The three-year LLB. degree program offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College Pune has a total intake of 180 seats every year. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline are eligible to seek admission in this college.

Admission to the LL.B. course is done on the basis of marks scored in an entrance test which is conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. The entrance exam is conducted at national level

Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College Pune B.A. LL.B and BBA LL.B Admission 2021:

After completing 10+2 level or equivalent with 50% aggegate, candidates may pursue integrated courses of five-year viz. B.A. LL.B and BBA LL.B offered by the college. The intake capacity for each of the courses are 180 seats. Relaxation of 5% marks in aggregate is given to the SC/ ST candidates

In order to seek admission in these courses, the aspirants will have to appear in LL.B entrance test conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Candidates who have qualified the entrance test are called for counselling.

Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College, Pune LLM Admission 2021:

At the postgraduate level, the college offers a one-year LLM program and two-year LLM program in various specializations to the aspiring students. LL.B. degree from any university recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade are required to be eligible to apply to any of the PG disciplines.

Admissions to both of the LLM programs are done on the basis of marks scored in Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. However, the marks scored in the entrance test is not sufficient to get a seat, candidates also need to appear in a group discussion. A weightage of 70% and 30% is given to the entrance test and group discussion respectively.

Candidates seeking admission in Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College, Pune can apply by both online and offline mode.

  • Candidates may download the application form or apply online from the official website of the college.
  • If applied online, the application fee needs to be paid online through net-banking or credit/debit card.
  • Interested candidates may also fill up the form offline by taking a print out of the application form.
    • After filling-up the application form, the application fee can be paid through Demand Draft in favor of the Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, on any nationalized bank payable at Pune.
  • The application fee is INR 1200.
