From the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna, a hearty welcome! An Act of Parliament established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences as a national institution with the goal of developing a medical workforce to demonstrate a high standard of Medical Education and sophisticated health care at an affordable cost in India.
At the UG level the institute offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with a duration of 5.5 years. The intake capacity of the program is 100.
Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST category will be benefited by a 10% of marks relaxation in 12th standard to be considered eligible for the concerned course.
Eligibility Criteria
Should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination with 60% from a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The minimum criteria are 50% for reserved caste candidates.
Selection Criteria
Admissions to the MBBS programme is done on the basis of NEET UG scores followed by counselling
Candidates who qualify the NEET UG have to go for NEET counselling.
How to Apply for NEET UG?
Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee.
Click on New Registration.
Enter the required details. A new roll number and password will be generated. Use these credentials to register for NEET counselling.
Log on to the Medical Counselling Committee website and click on Candidate Login.
Enter your roll number and password.
You will be directed to a new page where you have to enter personal details.
After successful registration, you will have to pay the counselling fee online. The total counselling fee is 6,000 INR for central universities.
You will then have to submit your preferences by filling in your choices, based on your scores. Admission is given on the basis of merit.
Once you are done, enter your password and lock choices. You cannot make any changes after locking your choices.
Keep a printout of the locked choices for future reference.
After each round of counselling, the MCC releases seat allotment results.
Candidates have to report to the allotted college with the allotment letter and other documents to finish the admission process.
15% of the seats are All-India Quota seats.
Seats left vacant after two rounds of counselling will be adjusted in the mop-up round.

NEET 2021 result/rank letter
Class 10 and 12 pass certificates and marksheets
Eight passport size photographs, the same as the one on the application form
NEET seat allotment letter
Proof of identity (Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport or driving licence)

AIIMS Patna MD & MS Admission 2022
The college also offers Postgraduate Medical Courses like MD and MS degrees under the similar various specializations. A candidate applying for these courses must have completed the MBBS degree recognized by an authorized university. The duration periods of the MD and MS programmes are three years in full-time.
The specializations offered in MD & MS are: Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community & Family Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, ENT, Forensic Medicine/ Toxicology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Microbiology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Pathology/ Lab Medicine, Paediatrics, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychiatry, Radiodiagnosis.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates securing an MBBS degree with at least 55% marks in undergraduate level are considered capable to take the admission in the MD and MS programmes.
Click on ‘New Registration’. Enter personal and Academic details. Click ‘Save & Proceed’ after filling up this page.
Candidates are required to choose one of the following modes to pay fees.
Select one examination city as per your preference. Make note that once the center is chosen, it can not be changed later under any circumstances.
Next, scan and upload the documents as per the defined guidelines.
After pressing the submit button, the application form will be generated which contains registration number along with filled in details. Candidates can print the submitted form for future reference.
How to Apply for AIIMS Nursing Entrance Exam?
A candidate seeking admission to the Entrance Examination is required to fill up an online application. The online application/examination fee is payable through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking and is non-refundable as well no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
The candidate should fill in the online application form as per the detailed instructions given in the Prospectus.
The candidate is required to go through the Prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all requirements regarding filling the application form.
Discrepancy, if any, in the date and time of the entrance examination mentioned in the Prospectus, Admit Card etc. should be immediately brought to the notice of the Assistant Controller of Examination, AIIMS, New Delhi. Complaints received after the examination will not be entertained. In case, any discrepancy is found in the information provided in the various documents, the data provided on the Application will be considered as final for all purposes.
Furnishing of false information/ filling of duplicate application form/conversing in any form or suppression of material information in the Application will entail disqualification and shall render the candidate unfit for admission. If ineligibility is detected at any stage even after examination, the candidature/admission will be treated as cancelled and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Application Form/Registration Slip complete in all respects should only be submitted through online and NOT to be sent to the Assistant Controller of Examinations, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110 608.
Incomplete application form will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained by the Institute in this regard.
It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that the correct address, mobile number and Email ID is filled in the Application Form with other details.
Candidates must not obtain or give or attempt to obtain or give irregular assistance of any kind during the examination; this will entail expulsion and cancellation of candidature for the examination.
